Handcrafted in Adelaide, Australia from certified Italian vegetable tanned leather. This A5 bifold pocket journal cover is designed for added storage, organisation, and everyday use, developing a rich patina over time.

Designed to fit A5 and smaller notebooks, the cover can be configured to suit your needs:

1 Column: Fits 1 × 1.5 cm notebook or 2–3 thinner notebooks
2 Columns: Fits 2 × 1.5 cm notebooks or 4–5 thinner notebooks
3 Columns: Fits 3 × 1.5 cm notebooks or 6–7 thinner notebooks

Journal Height: 22.4 cm (standard A5 height is 21 cm)

Inside, you’ll find:

3 card pockets
2 hidden pocket for receipts, folded notes, or documents
1 flap pocket for quick-access storage

This leather is certified Tuscan vegetable tanned leather, backed by the Pelle Conciata al Vegetale in Toscana trademark. As a licensed holder of the Consortium's official certification tags, every piece we make is traceable, authentic, and held to the highest traditional standards.

Edge Finish Options

Raw Edge (No Burnish): The leather is left natural with no edge treatment.

Burnished Edge: Hand burnished in a three step process finishing with beeswax to enhance durability, water resistance, and achieve a smooth, refined edge.

Creased Edge: A decorative crease is pressed along the edge of the leather using heat. This adds a subtle detail that frames the piece and gives it a more formal, traditional finish.

Beautiful journal photos don't do it justice

I had so much fun choosing from all the customizations! And then I changed my mind after ordering, and was taken care of, changes made! Once it arrived, I was truly stunned by the craftsmanship and the little details set it apart from all the other journals out there. With a couple months of use, it’s looking even more beautiful.

I received my journal cover and pencil case today.
They are truly beautiful, Joseph is very good at his trade. He is caring and knowledgeable and communicated the whole time. I asked him to make me a pencil case and he made a truly perfect one just what I wanted. He communicated with me the whole way through and I’m very grateful. The quality of his work and the leather is perfect. My daughter also ordered a journal cover and loves hers too. I wouldn’t hesitate to order again. I got the A5 and B6 trifold journals, both in Bordeaux, and they are absolutely stunning.
You can immediately tell that Joseph takes his craft seriously. The leather has a rich, pleasant scent that really speaks to its quality, and the workmanship is exceptional.

I own leather journals from other brands as well, but these truly feel different. They have such a special presence that I want to carry them everywhere with me.

I got the two following journals:

- Bordeaux, A5 trifold pocket, 3 columns, gold grommets, dark brown elastic, rounded corners.
- Olive, A6 bifold, 3 columns, gold grommets, dark brown elastics, rounded corners.

Both the journal covers look absolutely exquisite and I could not be happier. Joseph's passion and craftsmanship are very apparent in the high quality of the journal covers.

The leather feels so luxurious and the binding is beautifully done. Everything from the grommet placements, to the materials used, have been well thought out.

I truly think these journal covers are something I will treasure and use for a long long time.
